Dr. Elgohary serves as a General Consultant and Acute Care Surgeon. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgery (FACS), a fellow of Arab Board of General Surgery (CABS), a fellow of the Royal College of Surgery of Ireland (FRCSI) and an Assistant Professor at Weill Cornell Medical Qatar. He is actively involved in teaching residents at HMC as he is a core faculty member of ACGMEI accredited for the General Surgery Residency Program. He has been actively involved in many administrative, educational and research activities.
Dr. Elgohary has many presentations at local and international congresses. His research interests include minimally invasive surgery and acute care surgery.
